Also, if anyone else grew up calling over easy/medium eggs, “dip eggs” let me know so I don’t feel so alone! Read on to see what I’m talking about.
1.) If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
Bora Bora! I would love to stay in the bungalows over the water for like the next 20 years. If you have an in or would like to gift me this trip, let me know! (Kidding, but not.)
2.) Would you rather be invisible or be able to read minds?
Invisible. I don’t know if I would want to know what people are thinking all the time!
3.) If you had a time machine, what point in the past or future would you visit?
I’m not sure if there will ever be a time, but I would love to head to the future to a point when everyone in my life is healthy & happy.
4.) What is the meaning of your name?
Nicole: “A feminine form of Nicolas, which is from the Greek Nikolaos, a compound name composed of the elements nikē (victory) and laos (the people): hence, “victory of the people.””
5.) What would you like to be known for?
I would like to be known for being driven towards my goals, passionate about others and life, loving the people around me & a follower of Christ! These traits will always require continuous growth, but I think they are each so important.
6.) What is one of the things on your bucket list?
Refer to question #1… Okay but seriously, I would love to assist someone, somehow in opening an orphanage.
7.) What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is actually the Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 16:14, “Do everything in love.”.
8.) What is your favorite family tradition?
Unlike some families, my family doesn’t have a bunch of family traditions, but every year we have a gingerbread house decorating competition! I used to be the champion but my brother has won the last couple of years. If you have any fresh gingerbread house decorating ideas, help a girl out!!
9.) How do you like your eggs?
This is way too long of an answer for such a straight forward question…
When my dad made eggs while I was growing up, my options were always scrambled, dip or fried. Confused? Yeah I was too when I got judged when I ordered a “dip egg”.
After researching the different ways eggs can be prepared a few years ago, this is actually what I mean: soft scrambled, over medium or over hard. (Who would’ve known not everyone grew up with being fed eggs that you could DIP your toast into–hence dip eggs.)
ANYWAYS I do like them all three ways, but I prefer scrambled & fried over dip. 😉
10.) What is your favorite breakfast cereal?
Fruity Pebbles. Multi Grain Cheerios are close second.
